Our menu, and much of today’s Indian food as we know it, can be traced back to this era, however, several dishes we have selected that have their origins in Old Delhi, have in fact been influenced by many cultures, time periods and cooking styles, from the extravagant banquets of the Mughal emperors to Persia, China and beyond. Every dish and flavour has been created and recreated over centuries to satisfy the particular requirements of their audience, and so we are encouraged and honoured to stamp ours with the unmistakable Delhi Darbar twist.
